The Chief Representative of LOT in Vietnam, Krzysztof Kolodziej, said that the Hanoi – Warszawa is the latest among 10 flights the airlines will operate in 2010. LOT is proud to be the unique carrier connecting Warszawa and Hanoi on the occasion of the great festival of the 1,000-year anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi."

The Hanoi – Warszawa route will have three flights a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The flights on the return route will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday each week.. LOT will use aircraft Boeing 767-300 with the capacity of 225 economy seats and 18 business seats.

LOT started selling tickets for direct flights from Hanoi to Warszawa as well to other destinations in the carrier's flight network. Round-trip tickets for flights from Hanoi to Warszawa and Europe start at a price of USD380, excluding VAT and other charges. The price is as half as that of other carriers.

LOT is one of the oldest carriers in the world and is now the member of the Star Alliance. In 2010, the carrier will be the first European carrier operating aircraft Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
