A National Steering Committee on voting for world natural wonder was set up on August 8. Under a decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the committee will help the government on the voting of world natural wonder.

The committee’s duties is to set up a long term national plan and give guidance to all offices, localities and social organisations, thus creating a joint efforts to make nominated wonders of Vietnam including Ha Long Bay, Phong Nha – Ke Bang national park and Fanxipan Mount one of the seven new world wonders.
