Holland’s Urban Solution organisation has provided 41,630 EUR for a 58,960 EUR project to enhance the management capacity of the Hue heritage in the former imperial city in central Vietnam.

The project, part of a cooperation programme between the Hue Relics Preservation Centre and Urban Solution, will conduct surveys and provide training on collecting and processing data relating to heritages management and work out measures and programmes to preserve relics.

It also covers the planning of urban development around areas which house these relics.

Urban Solutions will besides provide consultancy on survey and analysis to draft plans on Hue relics management with a view to ensuring the relics intact with their global values in accordance with the UNESCO convention on heritage protection.

The project will be implemented from August 2008 to February 2009.
