Diversified promotion campaign for tourism - 27/08/2008

ImageAiming to fulfill a yearly target of attracting 4.8-5 million foreign tourists, VNAT (the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism ) will actively carry out a new promotion campaign.

From now to the end of this year, VNAT will focus on speeding up the establishment of a marketing plan for Vietnam tourism in the 2008-2015 period. This is a strategic plan which is being aided by Spanish experts.
Tourism businesses will intensify their promotion campaigns for Vietnam tourism in major fairs such as CIMT in China, JATA in Japan, ITB in Germany, WTM in Britain, ASEAN Festival in Japan and Roadshow in Russia as well as other fairs in ASEAN countries.

Together with enhancing promotion through fairs and exhibitions, the national tourism sector is also attaching importance to assessing the effect of promotion clips in international TV in the future, which will be submitted to the government for approval.
