Korean Air to Resume St. Petersburg Flights - 12/02/2010
Korean Air is to resume services to St. Petersburg from 30 March 2010, the beginning of the summer season in the northern hemisphere.

The Incheon - St. Petersburg flights will operate three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday - utilizing an Airbus 330 aircraft seating 226 passengers. KE929 departs Seoul/Incheon at 17:45 and arrives in St. Petersburg at 22:20 the same day. The return flight KE930 departs St. Petersburg at 23:50 for an overnight flight that arrives at Seoul/Incheon at 13:30 the next day.

Passenger numbers to St. Petersburg are expected to increase in earnest from June and they will all be able to enjoy Korean Air’s state-of-the-art AVOD (Audio Video On Demand) System which will be equipped in all three classes by then.

A major transport hub, St. Petersburg is referred to as “the Northern Capital” of Russia and is known as the city of culture and art. The White Nights Festival is an annual international cultural event and the city is also home to the famous Hermitage Museum, one of the largest museums in the world. Korean Air, known for its support of arts and culture, has been sponsoring the multimedia guide service at the museum since last June.
