The tourist festival of Hochiminh city the sixth 2010 is held by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the cooperation of the Tourist association of Hochiminh City will be officially taken place within April 8 – 11.

This is one of the activities to increase demand and advertise tourist image of Hochiminh city to visitors in the whole country and foreign visitors, at the same time creating favorable conditions for travel agents to introduce, and sell new services.

Accordingly, the tourist festival of Hochiminh city the sixth 2010 will include main activities such as: the tourist trade fairs with the participation of 76 agent who are travel agents, hotels, tourist destinations, and agencies being selected the titles of 100 interesting things; the eating and drinking festival of the North which are aimed at introducing the traditional eating and drinking culture of tourist destinations in the North; activities of culture and art such as the festival of golden voice of the tourism industry of Hochiminh city, beautiful exhibition of pictures on tourism in Hochiinh city…

The strong point of the festival this year is for the first time the street art procession is taken place with the participation of over 800 public actors and 10 wedding cars honoring tourist industries of the city.
