Behind the boiling living rhythm of a deep-water port, Dung Quat Bay in Quang Ngai province is a lovely natural landscape.
Dung Quat bay is 45km northeast of Quang Ngai city and oil tankers anchor in the bay to take products from Dung Quat Oil Refinery.
Making a survey of Dung Quat in September 1994, late PM Vo Van Kiet uttered: “Dung Quat is beautiful like a sleeping princess” and he chose it as the home for Vietnam’s first oil refinery.
Big vessels enter DungQuatBay to get plywood from Gemadept Dung Quat port.
